I love this motel. It's cheap and the lady who runs the desk during the day is amazing. The place is a little run down but it's still a good place. It's cheap. And they try to work with you if you need it. It's my favorite motel.
Very nice clean retro motel. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very cordial. The walk to the downtown area was an easy and safe walk. The Hop on Hop off Bus access was about a block down the street. We would stay again. We would rather stay in homeowned places and support local small businesses. We usually are out with activities, sights and spend very little time in a motel room. The mattresses were very comfortable in our room.
It's a fun spot when you need a cheap room near savannah, some of the rooms are decent but some need some work. It's a good spot if you aren't overly picky about having a fancy room. If you just want a place for the night to sleep and shower it's just fine, however I wouldn't recommend if you are travelling with kids or are super picky.

Room was clean and had a good amount of space. The staff was very friendly and helped with anything I needed.
Not to bad of a place. They were going thru issues of having to put in a hot water heater and we went 15 days with no hot water. They made up for it and made it worth our while. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a place to stay on a budget and close to everything. Has a convenance store near buy a bus stop a Waffle House and a gym and a place called Get Air for the kids. The school for Elementary kids is Butler Elementary. My little girl had to be enrolled there. She did not like it. Hope this was helpful.
The rooms are dirty and nasty but the staff make up for the condition. I did have to buy bug spray and vinegar and air freshener for the room but you can't blame the staff. If the health department doesn't do their job then how can I hold the owner accountable. Police are here again.
